The Retreat

Situated in a small rural village in the foothills of the Pyrenees, this retreat is a wonderful opportunity to combine nature’s own with daily yoga classes, delicious local culinary delights and the cultures of both France and closely neighbouring Spain.

The retreat is open to all, offering twice daily yoga practises, possible additional wellness therapies and treatments, swimming, hiking, cycling, and relaxing in the peace and tranquillity of our château.

Discover or rediscover the ancient techniques of yoga. Reconnect, recharge, and relax.

Tutor – Nicole Hogarth

Nicole began practicing yoga in 2010 initially to aid her recovery after long distance running. As a primary teacher at the time, she came to find it as a way of releasing physical and mental tension and after some years of practice, was inspired to begin sharing her knowledge with others.

Eager to learn more about the origins of yoga, she travelled to Rishikesh, India, in 2016 and completed her 200-hour teacher training certification. Upon her return to the UK, she began teaching a variety of styles including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin both in studios and privately.  Nicole has since run workshops, group and private classes for children, adults, and businesses throughout the UK and in the French Pyrenees where she now resides.

In her drive to make yoga more inclusive, Nicole’s classes are playful, varied and carefully designed to allow each student to work to their own potential whilst finding a mind-body connection. Breathing and relaxation techniques are combined with sequences that build strength, flexibility, and balance to promote a holistic sense of wellbeing.
